He specializes in all facets of retail development, tenant representation, landlord representation, shopping center and portfolio sales, retail roll-outs, retail consulting, and Investment 1031 Tax-Free Exchanges. A seasoned professional, Richard sees opportunities where others see none and finds solutions where others have failed. As an owner and operator of his own retail businesses and retail assets, Richard brings a unique perspective to the table — an understanding of the intricacies, pressures, and demands that property and business owners face. As a result, Soloff Realty & Development is proudly celebrating 10 years serving the retail needs of clients and business associates, building solid relationships with national and regional retailers, owners and investors, and gaining a reputation as a partner who delivers the highest caliber of service with integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Prior to forming his own firm in 2009, Richard successfully combined his energy, ambition, and proven expertise to make Colliers International’s Retail Division (formerly Colliers Lanard & Axilbund) a leading force in the tri-state market. Richard led the development and expansion of the retail division, becoming a partner and assisting numerous regional and international clients in pursuing and achieving their real estate goals. Richard completed two of the region’s largest shopping center portfolio sales: The Mills Community Center Portfolio and Berkshire Development Portfolio, with a combined value in excess of $300 million.
